The Yass Valley Anglican Church Parishes ministry leadership team consists of two minsters and two part-time ministers and a number of lay ministers operating in a variety of ministries.
In addition there is a Parish council made up of parish councillors and wardens from each of the four worship centres.
All Saints Murrumbateman has the benefit of its own vestry consisting of the Rector, wardens and elected members.
Parish Priest – Ken Rampling (Rector)
Ken and Lynette arrived in November 2012.
After long and successful careers in the Public Sector and many years of lay ministry God led them from their long standing involvement with a Canberra Pentecostal church into the Anglican church and eventually into ordained ministry.
Three children and three grandchildren along with career in science, Information Technology, other less exciting careers and a decade of prison ministry have proven that God is a good God, a faithful God and a powerfully transforming God.
Associate Priest – Judy Heggart
Judy grew up in a strong Christian environment, and finds great nurture and stability in Anglican traditions. Her heart has always been for the community around her, and she sees God’s call to her in this area. Ordained ministry has been her response to live out that call on her life. This is reflected in leading services, home groups, NSW Police chaplaincy, and extensive pastoral care. Judy continues in theological studies.
Judy and John have lived in Yass for ten years. They have four adult children and six grandchildren, a dog and a cats. Their home is ‘Kerrowgair,’ where people are always welcome.
Steve Neuhaus and Steve Simkus volunteer their time and considerable experience to support the parish Clergy.
As well as leading the Wee Jasper congregation Steve is the Chaplain at the Goulburn Police Academy and also a NSW SES Chaplain.
Steve Simkus is an experienced parish priest and although now retired is heavily involved in the parish as well as being the senior on the shopfloor for his son at the Yass Tile and Bathroom shop.
