1838 Rev R Cartwright – Licenced on 31 March 1838 to minister to the county of Murray and part of King county
1838-59 Rev C Brigstocke – First priest licenced to Yass as a defined parish
1840 First temporary church in Yass
1841-1843 Yass Rectory built
1842-1843 Rev William Lisle
1843 First burial in C of E burial ground
1847 St Clements foundation stone laid by Bishop Broughton
1850 St Clements opened for service
1851 Tumut-Wagga-Gundagai separated from parish
1852 St Clements consecrated
1856 Rev. Cartwright died
1859 St Clements tower erected
1859-1860 Rev Thomas Kemmis
1860 Rev Edward Synge
1861 St Johns, Boorowa built
1861 Young (Lambing Flat) separated from parish
1861-64 Canon Thomas Kemmis
1864-72 Ven F A C Lillingston
1865 New bell hung in St Clements spire
1866 Boorowa parish created;  Christ Church, Marengo built (Boorowa parish)
1868 St Clements churchyard officially closed for burials
1869 Peal of 5 bells first rung at St Clements

1873 Murrumburrah parish created

1876 Existing organ installed at St Clements
1878 St James, Bowning built
1879 St James, Bowning dedicated
